Leaving Bainbridge on Route 50 east, turn right on Potts Hill Road , and go into Nipgen (Possum Trot) on Route 772. Bear right onto Morgan Fork Road , turn right on Pike Lake Road and follow signs for Pike Like.  You will see Eggar’s Inn , a large stone building, which was a stopover on the Zane Trace. Continuing north, you will arrive at Pike Lake , a beautiful, quiet area comprising approximately 500 acres. Pike Lake was established by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the 1930’s and is the result of hard work by young men between the ages of 17 and 23. Today many people enjoy the recreational facilities of this scenic spot and park.

From Pike Lake Road , turn left on Egypt Road and right on Greenbriar Road . Turn right on Jester Hill Road coming back into Bainbridge.  Take time to enjoy the spectacular scenery and breathtaking photo opportunities. Coming into the village, note the old elementary school on your right. Driving over the main streets, you see many old homes built of native quarried stone. These homes date back to the early 1800’s. And don’t miss the Dental Museum , first Dental School in America on Route 50 ( Main Street ), north side of the street
